Jon Jeter was the Washington Post bureau chief for southern Africa from 1999 to 2003, and for South America from 2003 to 2004. Twice a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, he is the author of Flat Broke in the Free Market: How Globalization Fleeced Working People. He currently lives in the Bay Area.
La’Shay Morris, a masters of public health graduate student studied in West Africa for a year doing research while attending University of Ghana. LaShay’s current research is on social determinants of health. She is known for her work in Social Justice. La’Shay is originally from the Bay Area and now resides in Manhattan.
